47 Percent of Mainline Pastors Now Support Same-Sex Marriage
Feb. 21, 2020 -
The poll of 1,000 pastors found that 47 percent of mainline pastors say they “see nothing wrong with
two people of the same gender getting married.” That’s an increase from 2010, when 32 percent of
mainline pastors answered that way.
In the case of evangelical pastors, only 8 percent support same-sex marriage, and that was the same in 2010.
