Days 7 and 8
DAY 7 Fri Jun 23
JERUSALEM SIGHTSEEING
Region: Jerusalem
Enter the Dung Gate and ascend the Temple Mount to view the Dome of the Rock. Continue to the intact St. Anne's Crusader Church where we will sing hymns. Visit the Pools of Bethesda. Walk through the Old City, seeing the Ece Homo Arch and the stations of the Cross along part of the Via Dolorosa. Walk through the market place into the Jewish Quarter. Enter the Whol Archaeology Museum for the underground exposure to Upper Jerusalem. Visit The Tomb of David on Mt. Zion, and have prayer in the Upper Room. Visit the Israeli Museum to view Biblical archaeology that includes the David inscription from Tel Dan, the ivory pomegranate from Solomon's Temple, the Holy of Holies form Arad, the ossuary of Caiaphas, and the Shrine of the Book. Continue to the scale model of Herodian Jerusalem, and a visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.

DAY 8 Sat Jun 24
GARDEN TOMB, MASADA
Region: Judean Wilderness, Dead Sea
Visit the Garden Tomb at 8:30 AM for a private tour and communion.
- Matthew 27 - Golgotha - other end of Mt. Moriah! - Jesus buried nearby in Joseph's tomb.
Depart from Jerusalem for the Dead Sea and the fortress of Masada. Ascend by cable car. View the ruins of the Zealots' last stand against Roman forces, including the seige ramp and the synagogue. Swim in the Deat Sea if you wish, and continue to the Oasis of Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul and wrote the Psalms. Walk the path to the waterfall. Depart for Qumran to view the caves. Return to Jerusalem.
