You Know It’s The Last Days When…

The Rabbinical Council of Judea and Samaria said that the current situation “place us at the beginning of the Gog and Magog process where the world is against us, but which ends with the third and final redemption.”

This is a shocking statement, coming from Jewish scholars. The War of Gog and Magog is described in Ezekiel, chapters 38 and 39. These chapters follow the amazing prophecy of the rebirth of the nation of Israel in chapters 36 and 37.

Israel was reborn, just as Ezekiel predicted in 1948.

Many Bible students equate the War of Gog and Magog with the Battle of Armageddon, but we think it is most likely the same as the war of the Second Seal in Revelation 6:3-4.

This is the great war at the beginning of the Tribulation, while the Battle of Armageddon takes place at the end of the Tribulation.

The Tribulation is the prophetic period of time predicted by Daniel as the last seven years of Israel’s history.

It takes place just before Messiah returns to begin the peaceful Millennium (Daniel 9:24-27; Ezekiel chapters 40 through 48).

The Rabbinical Council is referring to the universal outrage against Israel because of the armed struggle that resulted when they stopped a supposed relief flotilla that was actually a ship-load of terrorists. The event caused a major realignment in the Middle East, with Turkey, recently a close ally of Israel and the U.S., but now siding with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

Let us remember Jesus’ words in Luke 21:28:

When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

We must all strive to be ready, as none of us know our appointed time. It surely appears that the signs point to Jesus soon return. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

  2. Todd Rousu says:

Another major sign. Many major earthquakes and natural disaters this year along with many wars and rumors of wars. Iran is out of control along with Obama leading the way to a one world order. And the world is fast turning to hate Israel. Look up believers are redemption is drawing near.

I am a baptist missionary in Brazil and am very glad God is using me in a country with such open hearts! I passed a group of school kids, Thursday, I began to give them gospel tracts for kids, the teachers loved it. Can you see me doing that in the US? No way! It is sad my country is turning away from the truth. I was saved in 1879 when reading Hal Lindseys books on prophecy.

It seems since the movie The Passion of the Christ, “things” have been happening. God is warning the world! For now while we wait, remember God wants to be with you. Give Him Your time.

  9. Lori McClain says:

I pray it all ends soon. The Bible says that if God didn’t shorten the end days, no one would survive. We must pray that the Lord raptures His believers ASAP. I know that I’m tired of this world. I look forward to being with Christ. Please come get us soon Jesus.

  10. Carmen mccall says:

  11. Joe Generoso says:

Oh trouble in Israel. Could it be as psalm 95 say:
…” ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray and they do not know my ways.’ So I swore in my anger, ‘They shall not enter into my rest.’

  12. Michael Duncan says:

One thing that we Christians need to keep in mind is that He Also Said that even when we see these things coming to pass, we are not to worry. How wonderful it is to be a Christian, having that blessed assurance of His Salvation. I’ve learned one thing that is truly important; When I pray, I try to always give thanks to Him, In The Holy Name Of Jesus, for all he has done for me. When you tell Him how grateful you are, He Hears you. I fear nothing, and I live on a fixed income; not much money, but I have The Wealth Of His Love which I feel all through me. God Bless all of you.
    Michael

Let’s keep spreading the gospel. As Jesus stated, the harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few, pray that the Lord of host will send more laborers into the harvest.

  16. Brian Perth WA says:

I am with Kevin yes things are close and it looks like he will soon return but lets not forget in al this many are are not going to make it unless we tell them the truth and stand up for what we believe.
What cost are we willing to pay for one soul to be saved ?

Steve above says above that he was saved in 1879. That would make him over 100 years old???? Surely he means 1979!!

  19. We are children of light and of the times and seasons we have no need to be told .1st Thessalonians 5:1 But of the times and seasons, brethren,Ye have no need that I tell you.2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord cometh as a thief in the night. Then verse 4 But Ye brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
So we will know that the day is close,vs 6 Therefore let us not sleep,as do others;but let us watch and be sober. Those that are asleep are those in the Laodicean church. The SLEEPING CHURCH!
I am really tired of being told we won’t no when Jesus is returning,He tells us we will know even when He is at the door. If we are watchmen how could we not know? Especially when their blood will be required at our hands if we do now warn them?

  20. Tricia says:

Lord, I cannot wait for you to come rescue us from all of this turmoil, heartache, and pain. You were so right when asked Father to forgive them, for they know not what they do. You hit that nail right on the head, as it was driven through you to the stake. I feel that statement whole-heartedly. I love you Jesus.

  21. Irene says:

I feel such urgency that things are coming to a close and that Jesus will come soon. We must be ready in season and out season to preach the gospel until Jesus comes. Until the Holy Spirit is removed we must be unceasing in reaching out to as many as we can with the gospel. Our job is to tell them and let the Holy Spirit draw them. God says His Word will not return void. Amazing Grace! There is so much going on now in our world that was going on during the 7 churches history talked about in Revelation. With so many churches asleep we must be the shining light to those that are lost. We not only have the lost in the secular world but we have some who call themselves Christians who straddle the fence. We must reach out to them also. In Hebrews 2:1 it says “Therefore WE OUGHT TO give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard LEST at any time we should let them slip.” (Or drift away from them). Throughout the Scripture Christ warns of the danger of drifting away, the danger of disobedience, danger of willful sin, warns against indifference, and tells us to progress to maturity in our Christian journey. He also warns of apostasy where many fall away. He died for all that will receive him and be obedient to His Word. We must make the best of the time we have and trust all that concerns us to Him who is able and willing to meet our needs.
